Danny Caro's Quote of the Week; April 5

articlemain

It's been quite some week for L'Equipe joint-manager Dan Cordell.

Just minutes after watching his team boost their promotion hopes with an important three points, he came up with this pearler which certainly tickled the JC panel of judges.

"I didn't want to sound cocky, but the win today was as sure as me picking up my smoked salmon bagel at Carmellis after a few drinks on a Saturday evening - inevitable!"

-----------------------------

BEST OF THE REST

- Dan Curtis (Loughton Orient) - "Pleased for the boys who are working really hard at the moment. We certainly better than our league position suggests"

- Jonathan Cohen (Temple Fortune) - "I think if you ask any side we have played since January, they will tell you we are not a bottom of the table team"

- David Garbacz (Hendon A) - QUOTE 1 - "All our games against Oakwood in recent years have been edgy, with not a lot of love lost and whilst it will be great to see our former skipper Josh Bentley and my nephew in the opposition line-up, he will have to have the game of his life if he is to wrestle control in the middle away from Ari Last and Yoav Lebens"

- David Garbacz (Hendon A) - QUOTE 2 - "These are very exciting times for us - Seder night around the corner plus two cup finals - I know what I'm more looking forward to"

- David Garson (Faithfold C) - "We have started to play quite well in the last few weeks it's just a shame it has taken so long"
