Danny Caro's Premier Division TOTW: September 16

articlemain

Here is my top-flight master class from Matchday 2 of the MGBSFL.

1. SAM CASTLE (ML Lions A) - "a truly colossus performance" against Camden Park, with three "world-class saves"

2. DANNY HAKIMI (Redbridge JC A) - "rolling back the years with a superb performance of class and experience"

3. HENRY ZIFF (Brady Maccabi) - "back at the heart of the Brady defence. An absolute rock and excellent distribution throughout"

4. AVI KORMAN (Hendon A) - "had to stand in at centre back and produced a top quality faultless performance"

5. ZAC NEIMAN (Redbridge JC A) - "Didn’t put a foot wrong against Oakwood, he looks to the manor born in this position and just makes the game seem so easy"

6. JAMES FRENER (Oakwood A) - "did a brilliant job. Never allowed the Redbridge ball players any time on the ball. Really good A team debut"

7. ROCKY SPITZER (Hendon A) - SEE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

8. THOMAS PRAIS (Oakwood A) - "I thought he was the best player on the pitch by some distance. Bossed the midfield"

9. MARC RISTER (Brady Maccabi) - "an absolute machine in midfield. Superb protection of the Brady back four which gave our attacking players the license to get forward"

10. DEAN NYMAN (Redbridge JC A) - ""an unbelievable performance, it was a master class of how to play the game and in that lone striker position, his hold up play was incredible. Deserved his goal as the icing on the cake but at times, he was unplayable and occupied the back 4 on his own"

11. REISS MOGILNER (Brady Maccabi) - "last season's MGBSFL Golden Boot winner was bang on it. A constant threat to SPEC FC with his pace and movement and took all 4 of his goal very nicely"

MANAGER: Jon Jacobs (Redbridge Jewish Care A)
