Danny Caro's Goal of the Week: October 9

articlemain

It was as though Oliver Sade had gold in his boots in a memorable outstanding performance in the cup against Faithfold A.

In a high-octane affair, Sade produced an eye-catching display, worthy of a place in my Team of the Week.

As for his wonder goal, I'll leave that to Finchley City boss Joel Holder to describe.

"It was the best piece of individual brilliance I have seen. A free-kick delivered in the box and Sade flicked the ball over his head on the volley into the top corner. Sheer outrage and genius."

--------------------------

BEST OF THE REST

- DAN ABRAMS (Faithfold B) - laced it from 30 yards and it "knuckleballed" right into the top corner. An absolute beauty

- OLI HAMBLING (Redbridge C) - latched on to a great pass to place a brilliant 25-yard chip over Sam Castle's head

- JOSH BLOOM (ML Lions B) - a cute lob over the Catford keeper

- JONTI AREMBAND (RCUK FC) - pick of the goals was a 30-yard screamer from Aremband that flew over the goalkeeper's head leaving him with no chance

- DAN GREEN (Scrabble FC) - picking the ball up out wide Dan evaded two or three tackles before hitting a screamer into the roof of the Raiders net from 35 yards to make it 2-2

- NICKY WOOLF (NL Raiders B) - GOAL 1 - a speculative lob over keeper Ben Law in the Scrabble goal

- NICKY WOOLF (NL Raiders B) - GOAL 2 - a stunning long-range effort on 20 minutes

- JOE DAVIS (Los Blancos) - a 20-yard bullet after a well-worked build-up
