Danny Caro's Goal of the Week: November 10

articlemain

Lots of good goals on Matchday 11 of the MGBSFL season, but in the end there could only be one winner.

WINNER: Nicky Woolf (NLR B) - GOAL 2 - out on the left wing some 35 yards from goal, the record-breaking striker surged infield, jinked past the full back and unleashed a rocket in to the top corner from 25 yards to break the 100 goal barrier in some style

NOMINEES

Ben Henry (Southgate Harmen) - "a wonder strike from the 18-year-old - he got the ball 30 yards out and unleased a thunder bolt of a shot leaving the keeper no chance"

- Dan Henig (SPEC FC) - great interplay from Marc Hecht and Dan Cohen before the latter's pass was dummied by Ashley Burns allowing Henig to curl a 25-yard effort into the far corner

- Reiss Mogilner (Brady B) - a jinking run from Laurier down the right saw him skip past three SPEC defenders before looking up and spotting the run of the advancing Mogilner. A pinpoint cross was met perfectly by the Brady hotshot without breaking stride as he glanced a looping header over the despairing goalie and into the top left corner from the edge of the box

- Marcus Mann (London Haroldeans - the 'Leeds Luthario' took the game by the scruff of the neck, flicking and tricking his way down the left wing before cutting inside and whipping a wonderstrike into the top corner giving the Blizzard keeper no chance as he could only watch the ball fly into the net

- Oli Joseph (London Haroldeans) - bullet header from a corner

- James Abrams (London Haroldeans) - a quick thinking throw in, Abrams ran down the line, cut inside and finished from a narrow angle, cementing Haroldeans' win
