Danny Caro's Goal of the Week: April 14

articlemain

There was a touch of the Beckham's about the Goal of the Week on Matchday 31 of the JC MSFL.

WINNER: Haki Elias (Hendon C) - on the half-way line, saw the keeper off his line and produced a Beckham-esque shot which left Chutspah's keeper no chance

---------------------------------------

NOMINATIONS

- Richard Slater (Chigwell) - Slater latched on to a throw-in from Russell Yershon, jinked between two players and smacked a right footer over the keeper

- Alex Hershman (Brady A) - smashed in a great half volley from the corner of the box

- Dan Harrod (Brady B) - a low drive from 25 yards flew past the keeper

- Reiss Mogilner (Brady B) - was on hand to delightfully chip over the stranded goalkeeper

- Dave Newman (SPEC FC) - got the goal his second half performance deserved. Receiving a precise pass from Murray and jinking past two again, including a cheeky nutmeg, the mercurial midfielder then dinked a cute shot over the advancing keeper

- Nicky Woolf (Raiders B) - a fantastic strike, turning on the edge of the area and finding the top corner

- Alex Bull (Southgate Harmen) - scored "a worldie" against Chigwell

- Oli Hitman (Catford & Bromley) - a great hit from a throw
