Danny Caro's Division Two TOTW: September 16

articlemain

This lucky XI got the nod as the star men in Division Two on Matchday 2 of the MGBSFL.

1. SAM SINGER (Mill Hill Dons) - "made several close-range saves to keep FC Team B out, he also was extremely quick off his line, getting to the majority of balls in the box before any attackers. He was solid from corners, often coming out and claiming the ball. He was in full command of his area and played the role of a sweeper keeper to perfection, as he looked very comfortable with the ball at his feet"

2. ARIEL TAMMAN (MH Dons) - reminded his manager of "a young Dani Alves, scored the opener in the game and made some critical challenges and headers during the game. A last-ditch challenge in the penalty area kept the scores level during a critical period of the game"

3. AARON LUFTIG (RCUK FC) - "captain for the day, was unbelievable, working the line tirelessly for 90 minutes and nearly finished off a 30 pass move started from our keeper, Robbie Krupski"

4. AMIR NATHAN (Redbridge JC C) - "evergreen" defender was man-of-the-match against Real Hendon

5. GIDEON CALLER (RCUK FC) - "didn't let a thing past him, was up and down the entire game, reminiscent of Cafu, and was dangerous up the field as he was solid when back"

6. BRETT STEAD (Temple Fortune) - "superb debut, solid throughout" against Raiders

7. DAVID BROWN (FCUK FC) - "belied everyone of his 36 years with an astonishing display, he won every duel in the air and on the floor he was faced with"

8. RYAN KRAMER (MH Dons) - "Looked incredibly comfortable on the ball, full of confidence. A threat going forward"

9. AKIVA ZNEIMER (RCUK FC) - "last game for a while and he was yet again our danger man, he constantly beat his man and others putting in dangerous cross after dangerous cross and will be a big loss for us"

10. JASON SHOFFMAN (Catford & Bromley Maccabi) - a deadly double against Vale

11. AVI MARKIEWICZ (RCUK FC) - the odds on him to win the MGBSFL Golden Boot have dropped heavily following his incredible four-goal salvo against Faithfold

MANAGER: Avi Markiewicz (RCUK)
