Danny Caro's Division 2 TOTW: October 20

articlemain

Here at the stars who sparkled brightly on Matchday 8 of the MGBSFL.

1. Oren HURY (Oakwood B) - "4 or 5 massive saves in the shock cup win over Hendon. His manager, Ian Tussie, is "running out of superlatives to throw at him," which says something

2. Adam SPECK (Blizzard Storm) - played with his heart on his sleeve and did't deserve to be on losing team against Faithfold A

3. Nick WALLIS (SPEC FC) - ensured there was no way through for a determined AC Whetstone

4. Stefan ISAACS (Oakwood B) - "captain, hero, legend. Marshalled back four brilliantly with Carl Peters and led us to victory. #onemoreyear"

5. Rob SANFORD (FC Team C) - don't be surprised if London Maccabi Lions make Team a big offer after his 90-minute master-class

6. Jeremy JULIUS (FC Team C) - super-sub extraordinaire, made an instant impact with three goals to send Lions crashing out

7. Shim BENSOOR (FC Team C) - was keen to impress again his former club and he did exactly that

8. Eddie MANSON (Oakwood B) - "still a class act"

9. Adam ZECHARIA (Blizzard Storm) - a five-star performance against Faithfold A. If only the scouts had been watching!

10. Adam GOLDMAN (Redbridge JC B) - "great hold up play and all action performance" in the win over Bilbaum that put RJC top

11. Scott OLDSTEIN (Redbridge JC B) - "tormented their full back the whole game and fully deserved his goal"

----------------------------

Player: Jeremy Julius (FC Team C)
