Danny Caro's Division 2 Team of the Week: Nov 25

articlemain

There were some stellar performances in Division Two on Matchday 12 of the MGBSFL.

1. DAVID GORDON (FC Team B) - rock solid against Redbridge. Didn't put a glove wrong!

2. RYAN KRAMER (Mill Hill Dons) - "playing out of his preferred central midfield position, the vice-captain put in one of the best defensive performances of the season. He was calm and collected on the ball and made several crucial tackles. He kept the Boca strikers quiet all game and we will feel he deserved a clean sheet"

3. GIDEON WETRIN (Temple Fortune) - "the Fortune legend was solid throughout"

4. JOSH MARLOW (RC UK FC) - "protected the back four and played nice simple football"

5. SAMMY HAKIMIAN (Mill Hill Dons) - "a real solid performance for Hakimian today, he controlled the midfield battle with some superb interceptions. He was very strong on the ball, beating men with ease all game"

6. MARK SMITH (L'Equipe) - "this man drove from Windsor in the morning, was made captain for the day and put in one of the best performances seen all season. Catford’s manager and the ref both said he stood out from minute one, he controlled the centre of the park and every pass went via Mark. He led from the front like a true leader does and without doubt should make team of the week!"

7. MICHAEL WOOLF (Temple Fortune) - "played a huge role second half sitting in front of the back four and did very well"

8. ELI SHEBSON (RC UK FC) - "was simply out of this world. Been told by both managers that he was by far the best player on the park and kept us ticking with exquisite passing"

9. ZALMY COHEN (RC UK FC) - "played up top set up two and scored two, his manager (Avi Markiewicz) may have to bench myself next week!"

10. JORDAN SHARIFIAN (Temple Fortune) - "superb performance, three goals and having a great season"

11. ADAM LENZ (Temple Fortune) - "very crucial to we are playing at the moment, hard forward to defend and linked up play well plus chipped in with another goal"

MANAGER: Nick Stern (L'Equipe)
