Danielle’s jump start in Barcelona

Danielle Frenkel, 22, set a new women's high jump record for Israel in its debut at the European Athletics Championship in Barcelona

She cleared the bar at 1.92m in the qualifying round advancing her to the final where she managed to clear only 1.85m followed by three failed attempts at 1.89m, handing victory to Croatia's Blanka Vlasic, reaching 2.03m.

Frenkel remains optimistic and happy with her overall performance, despite not being victorious in the finals and finishing 12th and last place.
