Ben Law (Goalkeeper)
Former MSFL Goalkeeper of the Year, Ben is in his second season at Faithfold. He has come back from a long spell out due to an injury and, especially in the second half of this season, has really excelled, showing he is up there with the best again in Jewish football. An imposing figure who dominates the penalty box and has pulled off some crucial saves on the way to this final
Bradley Lee (Goalkeeper)
The oldest member of the squad, a great shot stopper and useful keeper who has had many good years at Faithfold. Can also do a job outfield (or so he tells his teammates)
Daniel Howard (Defender)
A physical, powerful player who is good in the air and just as good on the floor with surprisingly quick feet and a powerful shot. Dan has finally matured, well sort of. A great asset who can play in several positions which makes him extremely valuable to the team
Paul Savitz (Defender)
Pierre has finally, after three years, found his best position at full back, however he can only play in a 4-4-2,otherwise he gets a bit confused. He had a great start to the season -arguably the team's best player this season - until he met a lovely French mademoiselle who he now prefers to recite Gaelic poetry too rather than train with the team
James Frener (Defender)
Has formed a rock-steady partnership at the heart of defence alongside Alex Taylor. Quiet and unassuming, some of his displays have been awesome in what is his second full season for the A-team. He has pace, strength and reads the game well and, at only 19, James is surely a shoo-in for the MSFL Rep Team and the GB Maccabiah squads in years to come
Alex Taylor (Defender)
Brilliant, reliable and lightning-quick centre back who tackles anything that moves. His qualities have been rewarded with a belated but deserved call up to the MSFL Rep Team. Tough as nails, don't get in his way
Alex Levack (Midfield)
The captain and heartbeat of the team. Simply put, if he plays well then Faithfold play well. Quality with the ball and hard-working without it. Superb in the air despite his size and strong in the tackle. 'Alzee' really has it all and probably has more footballing talent than many of his clients (he's a football agent). Skipper of the MSFL Rep Team and has been selected for countless GB Maccabiah squads. Former winner of the MSFL Player of the Year. Congratulations to him on being selected for his fourth European Maccabi Games
James Taylor (Midfield)
Alex's younger/older/twin brother plays when he's not stalking celebrities in Barbados, Miami, Marbella and the like. Hard-working and committed central midfielder who also has good quality on the ball, well sometimes. Has played extremely well in the quarters and semis on the way to Boundary Park
Paul Babai (Midfield)
A new addition to the squad. A born winner and has added some needed steel into the team, great tackler and will to win. Previous captain of South Mancs. A player Faithfold were trying to get for many years. A great guy with masses of energy scored the semi final winner
Alex Kaye (Midfield)
A great summer signing who last year won the MJSL player of the Year. Now back in London, he has fitted in very well for the mighty greens in his first season. Al is super fit and gets from box to box all day. A Rep appearance surely beckons and maybe Maccabiah one as well. Alex is no stranger to Boundary Park where he won the Feldman trophy last year scoring two goals in the final
Simon Lawrence (Midfield)
Another youngster and, at 20 years of age, a real prospect, strong, quick and powerful. Has great technique and good football attributes. Another University boy so not played as many games but when called upon has always performed well
Benji Dymant (Midfield)
Benji has had a impressive season in central midfield. Talented and creative on the ball, he has also chipped in with his fair share of goals and will go from strength to strength in forthcoming seasons. Previously represented GB U18s at the Maccabiah Games. Another youngster with a bright future. Has great attributes to succeed at Faithfold
Joseph Cohen (Midfield)
Old-style winger who, Rocky aside perhaps, is the quickest player at the club. With his pace and skill, he terrifies opposition full-backs that usually have to resort to crude methods to try and stop him. Only 20, this is Joe's second season with the club and he has just been picked to play for Team GB in the European Maccabi Football Trophy previously
Dan Harrod (Midfield)
Extremely talented player unfortunate to miss out through injury. Has great feet and technique. Still a teenager, Dan is one for the future. Faithfold look forward to him finishing university and moving back to London so he can become more of a permanent fixture in the team
David Lederman (Midfield/Forward)
Leds can be found bamboozling defenders when either playing wide or floating just behind the striker. One of the older members of the squad. He has perhaps the best first touch in the MSFL, a fantastic range of passing and was deservedly selected to play in the GB Maccabiah Masters Squad last summer
Rocky Spitzer (Midfield/Forward)
'Chicharito' Rocky has been rarely available this season owing to a combination of university and Manchester United away trips, but when available has always made the squad. An extremely exciting player. Another 20 year old in the squad with great maturity. Hugely talented winger who will be a mainstay of the club for years to come
Daryl Phillips (Forward and Assistant-Manager)
Despite his advancing years, Daryl remains one of the finest strikers to play on the Jewish stage and is a real danger man, still oozing quality. A veteran of countless Maccabiah Games and many MSFL Rep Team appearances. Has a huge will to win. Still probably the fittest player in the team at 37, which is a testament of his will-to-win and he's still be the best. Another former winner of the MSFL Player of the Year
Jonny Haik (Forward)
The form player and probably our best player in the quarter finals and semi finals. Strong, quick great technique and two good feet. Great trickery and hold up play. Another with a great desire to win. Another new boy from South Mancs we acquired this year
Lorian Madanes (Playmaker)
Former FC Team youngster has scored some important goals for the team this season. Sees things that others don't and always looking to show off his majestic skills and good ball control
Dan Perkins (Forward)
Tall, elegant and supremely talented forward who has made only fleeting appearances this season as he is still at university and has been injured most of the season. One for the future
Zuriel Solomon (Manager)
Zury manages the team in the same way he used to play; calm, relaxed and composed, and getting the ball down and playing the Faithfold way. Having won every honour in Jewish football as a player, he now hopes to match this as a manager. He has put together a great blend of youth and experience that all are capable of winning the cup and many more trophies in the future. After getting so close last year, Zury made a few key new signings and hopes to be bringing the Peter Morrison cup back down the M1 to London
