Cole names JC MSFL Rep team against Turkey

articlemain

Jamie Cole, manager of the JC MSFL Rep team, has named a 21-man squad for next week's London Inter-League Cup opener against the Turkish Federation League.

Ahead of next Thursday evening's match at Brimsdown Rovers FC in Enfield, Cole said: "We've never beaten this team in this competition so there's a massive incentive for players."

Daniel Stanton has been named captain. London Maccabi Lions defender Louis Basger missed out on a place as he is unavailable. Brady Maccabi striker Paul Hakim, who is the only player from outside the Premier Division is doubtful due to injury.

Cole, who is also joint-manager of North West Neasden A, added: "I've come from an environment that is about winning and I want to carry that mentality through to the
players.

"We are going to attack, it will be an attacking team. But, while we are not in any way over-confident, we have got to be positive. We have to believe we will win.

"I believe we have got the players and the quality in the team. We all know how important this match is, and we are ready for it."

JC MSFL squad: Keepers Danny Berliner (Hendon Utd), Max Shields (NW Neasden), Defenders Daniel Cole, Jonathan Ellis, Scott Shindler (NW Neasden), Motti Colman (LM Lions), Alex Levack (Faithfold), Adam Hakimi (Redbridge JC), Midfielders Daniel Stanton (capt), Danny Daggers (NW Neasden), Paul Babai (South Manx), Josh Bentley (Hendon Utd), Ricky Kennet, Ben Lauffer (LM Lions), Strikers Mike Pearson (LM Lions), Adam Stolerman, (Redbridge JC), Lee Cash, James Gershfield (NW Neasden), Paul Lenchner, Darryl Phillips (Faithfold), Paul Hakim (Brady Maccabi)
