London Lions returned to the top of the Herts Senior County League Premier Division as they beat fourth-placed Standon & Puckeridge.

The visitors drew first blood when Lions defender Adam Myeroff conceded an own goal.

Lions woke up from their slumber with the midfield trio of Rob Glass, Ben Lampert and Ben Lauffer taking the game by the scruff of the neck. Dominique Cheniart (2) and Adam Stolerman (2) clinched the points.

Lions boss Tony Gold said: "Dominique should be considered for the Open Maccabiah squad if there is still time for him to be involved or looked at because their can't be many better."
