articlemain

The race for the Maccabi Masters League Division One title was blown wide open after leaders Glenthorne United A and defending champions Brady Maccabi A were beaten.

Glenthorne were beaten 2-1 by title hopefuls North London Raiders, for whom Jonny Dubiner and Ashley Davidson were on target. Second-placed Brady failed to make up any ground as they were beaten by the same score by South Mancunians. Neil Kochane scored for Brady, but strikes from David Hyman and Paul Rodin secured the win for Mancs.

Mark Kingston and Jacob Namer helped Division Two leaders EDRS Stonegrove beat Clayhall Park Casuals. Meir Velenski was the matchwinner as Ashlodge beat Brady Maccabi B.
