Gary Ellis received a commemorative certificate after registering a perfect 300 score in ten pin bowling.

Ellis was GB's top performer at the 2007 European Maccabi Games in Vienna and he recorded the second perfect score of his career and the second at the EMG.

Team manager Ian Davis took silver in the Singles competition and led the Trios team to gold alongside Jack Nesbit, Darren Sasienie and Ellis

They were leading until the halfway point but finished 78 pins behind America and 98 ahead of Sweden.

Ellis finished with the highest points overall, 1341. He averaged 223.

Davis said: "If you compare the overall medal tally to four years ago then we are slightly down but all silverware won this time are of more value than previous Games as the standard is much higher.
