Brady gleeful after beating rivals

Brady Maccabi came from behind to thump arch rivals Glenthorne United A 4-1 in Division One. Greg Morris put the Thornes on top but Brady rallied with goals from Mark Wagman (2), David Sawyer and Scott Ansher.

South Mancs A recorded their first win, beating North London Raiders 2-0 with strikes from Gavin Sherman and Paul Rodin.

There was double delight for South Mancs as the B team despatched Clayhall 5-1 courtesy of Richard Smith, Paul Herszaft (2), Oren Wolf and Marc Schneiderman. Mark Goldman scored Clayhall's consolation.

Glenthorne B hit Temple Fortune for six. Adam Lennard (3), Steve Larn, Adam Hart and debutant Trevor Granger were the marksmen. James Ryan produced Fortune's solitary response.

EDRS put seven past Brady B. Mark Kingston (5), Gary Shaw and Jacob Namer completed the rout.

London Maccabi Lions and Norstar Old Boys shared the points after a six-goal thriller. Stuart Coutts and Derrick Beare struck for the Lions with Steve Feiger (2) and Lee Cohen replying.
