articlemain

Brady Maccabi A opened a six-point lead at the top of the Maccabi Masters League Division One following a 7-0 victory over Hendon Harriers.

Three goals from Mark Wagman plus one apiece from Max Radford, Laurence Myers, Paul Shamplina and Jonathan Cohen completed the route.

North London Raiders kept alive their slim title hopes with a 5-3 victory over Faithfold. There were goals for Ashley Davidson (2), Wayne Davidson, Kevin Lotzof and Jonny Feinmesser.

Joel Nathan (2) and Adam Barton replied for the Hoops, whose ‘keeper Paulie Gelernter kept the score respectable with a string of fine saves.

Another hat-trick from Marc Morris took London Maccabi Lions top of Division Two as they edged out former leaders Glenthorne United B 3-1.

The result sets up a tight finish to the title race. Lions have just three games left, but must still hope Glenthorne slip up, as they are just a point behind with a game in hand. Gary Swerner replied for Glenthorne.

Jonny Mansoor (2) and Paul Herszaft were the goal men as South Mancs Bbeat Ashlodge 3-1.
