Former Maccabiah aces Jonathan Bornstein and Benny Feilhaber will both grace the ultimate world stage after earning selection for the USA squad at next month's World Cup.

Bornstein, 25, appears to have benefited from staying in the MLS, where he has become a regular at Chivas- formerly coached by national manager Bob Bradley.

And Feilhaber, who was a late addition to the 30-man squad after only just recovering from a long-term injury for his club side Aarhus of Denmark, was a surprise inclusion. Both are hoping to start against England in a little of two weeks' time.
In a recent interview with this website, Bornstein said in response to a question about whether his side could win the match:

“Oh yeah, we can win the match. We are a good team who have, in glimpses, really shown what we are capable of."
