An unbeaten 38 from Joel Phillips steered Belmont & Edgware to victory as they beat Haryom in the Middlesex Sunday League Division Three.

Electing to bowl first, Gideon Restan and Mike Prager kept things tight with Restan taking one for 12 in an opening spell of five overs. Neil Myeroff (1-20) maintained the solid start but it was Stuart Davis (4-24) who was chief destroyer. Phillips chipped in with 2-17 at the death at Haryom were dismissed for 138.

Simon Durban (26), Warren Averbuch (32), batting with a runner laid the platform for Phillips to see the job through.
