Louie Basso is the MJSL Player of the Year.

The Manchester Maccabi youngster received the Tony Waltzer Trophy at Oldham Athletic on Sunday.

Basso, 17, also plays for Altrincham Boys. He capped a fine year by helping the Brooklands club win the Peter Morrison Trophy and MJSL title.

Oli Grant retained the Steve Blackstone top-scorer award with 25 goals.

Westdene's Steve Davis won the MJSL Secretary of the Year, while Gary Louis won the Ronnie Rose Memorial Trophy for loyal service to the MJSL Executive.
