Great Britain hit gold at the end of the first week of the Maccabiah Games 2013.
Sprinter Ellie Edwards won the junior girl’s 200m, Sam Shindler-Glass the junior boys 800m and golfer Tracy Capal claimed the master’s women’s net event.
Team GB also claimed silver medals in the master’s judo, boy’s javelin, fencing team sabre and boy’s 1500m track event.
GB’s first medal of the games was claimed on Sunday by Guy Cohen who won bronze in the men’s fencing epee.
The team’s medal count stands at 19, with 12 bronzes, four silvers and three golds.
