Assulin: I'm going nowhere

Manchester City midfielder Guy Assulin has denied rumours he will be loaned to a Championship team for season 2011/12.

The 20-year-old Israeli, who joined City from Barcelona last November, played 69 minutes for the club's reserves last Saturday in a 2-1 win over Altrincham Town.

Assulin, who has yet to make his City debut, said: "I'm really enjoying my football here and I'm not planning to go anywhere. I hope to continue improving and challenge for a place next season."
