SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS LEAGUE DIVISION ONE

LANGFORD 1 LONDON LIONS 3

With a more consistent and fuller squad at Andy Landesberg’s disposal these days, the results are coming as Lions look to be hitting form at the right time.

Lions took the lead after just 16 minutes when ADAM Burchell drove down the right wing, exchanged passes with Austin Lipman and then delivered a low centre for Adam Bolle to continue his fine scoring streak and slide the ball in to open the score.

It took only another nine minutes for Lions to double their lead and give Langford a mountain to climb; Mitch Hahn’s long throw was held up by Bolle, who then turned provider to lay off for Max Kyte to ram home from eight yards.

Langford, to their credit, came back at Lions, and pulled a goal back on the stroke of half-time when a set piece caused chaos in the Lions area

This gave Lions much to think about and meant the game was not safe until late on when in the 88th minute Lions got a third. It was Hahn who scored his first goal since his return when he finished well after a fine driving run from the midfield.

Another important win was sealed as Lions continue to look upwardly mobile.

LIONS: James Harpin, Ben Goldberg, Adam Harvey, Jake Furman, Adam Myeroff, Nick Landesberg, Max Kyte, Mitch Hahn, Adam Bolle, Austin Lipman, Adam Burchell. Subs: Jordan Marks, Tyler Smith, Adam Lipman

SCORERS: Bolle, Kyte, Hahn
