Valuable assets to business

articlemain

Some of the best-known braves from the last property boom have joined big chief Jonathan Vandermolen in his new venture, Your Development Partner, a specialist asset recovery and management business.

Mr Vandermolen himself set up and ran upmarket estate agent Blenheim Bishop.

He has attracted a number of professionals to join the advisory board of Your Development Partner — David Pretty, retired boss of Barratt Developments; Richard Cotton, former senior partner of Cluttons; David Murray, the retired deputy managing director of Anglo Irish Bank’s UK division; Mike Samuels, the former head of real estate at Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander and Mike Youkee, Quintain’s former head of housing.

The aim of Your Development Partner is to maximise the value of land, buildings, new homes and residential investments, in order to minimise losses.

Current clients of the company include banks, receivers and lending institutions.
