Preston Bennett sets gold standard

articlemain

It was 50 years ago today that the firm which was to become Preston Bennett set up shop. Since opening his first office in 1958, Ronald Preston, one of the founders of Stanmore-based property group, has remained as passionate about the business as he was 50 years ago.

Ronald had joined an Edgware-based estate agency in 1952, at the age of 20, after his National Service. The firm was “looking for a lad’”.

“I started on a three-day-a-week basis and immediately fell in love with the business,” he says.

That passion and enthusiasm prompted Ronald to start his own business, Ronald Preston & Partners, in a small office next to Canons Park Underground station. Preston Bennett’s success today is testament to his drive and vision, ably complemented by those of Peter Bennett, who joined him in 1970.

Preston Bennett, established in Church Road, Stanmore in 1990, has grown and expanded to encompass an exceptionally comprehensive range of property-related services. Over the past 50 years, Ronald Preston’s approach to business has brought him a reputation for ethical practice and professionalism that are the cornerstones of his enterprise. This track record and experience is valued by clients in today’s challenging property market.

Ronald’s energy and enthusiasm for the business is unabated. His unique hands-on approach both motivates and innovates, achieving ever-higher standards of professional performance and customer service.

“We strive to be the best,” explains Ronald Preston, “and it is by sheer endeavour that we consistently achieve the hard-won position of number one in the areas in which we operate.

“The excellent team at Preston Bennett are tasked with upholding the solid reputation of the firm. It is their enthusiastic, hardworking approach, together with that very personal element in providing excellent service to our clients, that makes Preston Bennett different.”

Preston Bennett has dedicated departments covering new homes, established homes, fine homes, apartment living, planning, land-and-development, overseas properties and letting-and-management.
