Restoration specialist Comer Homes has released 26 new homes for sale at its Royal Connaught Park scheme in Bushey. The homes, including 11 houses, are set among the grade II listed Victorian Gothic building complex.

Marlborough House, formerly the school's sanatorium, has been converted into five two and three-bedroom homes. King Edward House, once the maids' quarters and kitchens, is now 14 homes. Kent House, the school laundry, is now a quartet of three- and four-bedroom homes. And Derby House, the infirmary, has been transformed into a trio of three-bedroom homes.

Original features include vaulted ceilings, stone windows, wooden beams and cornicing. Kitchens feature brands including Poggenpohl and Miele, granite or stone worktops and, in some cases, a Champagne cooler.

All properties have underfloor heating, video entry and designated car parking and Comer's interior designer Rebecca Lloyd has worked with local suppliers to create and source furniture and furnishings that suit the grand setting.

Over the years, due to its proximity to Elstree and Pinewood Studios, the campus has been used by Hollywood and British filmmakers. The buildings provided a number of locations for the Harry Potter films, in particular as a backdrop for areas of Hogwarts.

Royal Connaught Park is set within about 100 acres of parkland. It includes a concierge, on-site health and fitness club and swimming pool, communal landscaped gardens and a courtesy shuttle bus to Bushey station.

Prices at the scheme start at £355,000 and homes in this phase known as "The Houses" range from £1.5 million to £5 million. They have three, four or five bedrooms.Agent is Statons

In a popular part of Bushey near the town centre is Meadowbrook in Oundle Avenue, a new Shanly Homes development, within walking distance of King George Recreation Ground and local Bushey Heath shops and amenities,

Only one four-bedroom house out of the original seven remains for sale. It includes a study, a garage and good-sized garden and it would appeal to a family with children. Bushey has some highly regarded schools, including Queens' School, Bushey Meads School and Bushey Academy, St Hilda's and St Margaret's independent schools and The Purcell School, Britain's oldest specialist music school. The house at Meadowbrook is priced at £885,000. Agent is Preston Bennett.

The same agent is selling Verve in Bushey, a collection of eight two, four, and five-bedroom houses by Beverley Homes. There is one four-bedroom, three-bathroom property left. Its kitchen has stone worktops and integrated appliances, with LED lighting below the wall units, as well as lighting within the units. Price is £949,950.

Landsdowne Court consists of 11 two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments in Finch Lane, Bushey. Landsdowne Court's remaining two-bedroom apartment is available for £479,950. Agent is Preston Bennett.
