Woody Allen is in talks with a Munich film studio for his next project.

If a deal is agreed, it will be the first time the Jewish director has filmed in Germany.

Mr Allen has filmed in locations all over the world, including recently in London, Paris and Barcelona.

His latest film, The Bop Decameron starring Jesse Eisenberg¸ is set in Rome.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, if the negotiations with the Bavaria Film Studios go to plan he will start filming in Germany next summer. The project is as yet untitled and no details of cast have emerged.
