Three injured in attack outside Copenhagen synagogue

articlemain

Three people have been wounded in a shooting outside a synagogue in Copenhagen.

According to police reports, one civilian was shot in the head and two policemen were injured.

The attack followed another shooting at a cafe in Copenhagen earlier in the day in which one person was killed and three police injured.

That attack appeared to have been carried out by Islamists targeting Lars Wilks, an artist who has received death threats since publishing images of the Prophet Mohammed.

The café had been hosting an event titled "Art, blasphemy and the freedom of expression" when the shots were fired.
