More bomb threats against ADL offices

articlemain

Four offices of anti-hate watchdog the Anti-Defamation League in the US received bomb threats on Tuesday.

ADL National Director Jonathan Greenblatt made the revelation during an interview with the JC in London.

Mr Greenblatt is due to address Parliament on Tuesday afternoon about the wave of antisemitism sweeping the US since the election of Donald Trump.

Mr Greenblatt said: “Four ADL offices in Atlanta, Boston, New York and Washington D.C. received telephoned bomb threats today. This is not ‘normal.’ We will not be deterred or intimidated.

“These threats were in addition to threats to at least six JCCs and three day schools in Oregon, Wisconsin, Illinois, New York, Florida, Maryland and Toronto.

“This adds to the 121 threats received since early January.  It is time for action, and we call on the administration and Congress to take concrete steps to catch those threatening the Jewish community.”
