John Galliano sacked from own label

After he was sacked from his design role at Christian Dior in the wake of his antisemitic outbursts in a Paris bar, it was clear John Galliano's career was damaged.

Exactly how badly was made even clearer today when it emerged that the couturier had been sacked by the board of his own John Galliano label.

The label is owned by the luxury goods company LVMH.

Mr Galliano, who is set to appear in court on May 12 over charges of public insult, left a rehab clinic in Arizona earlier this week.
