Over the weekend a picture of Jennifer Aniston in her wedding dress went viral – with the help of an Israeli designer.
The picture was posted on Facebook from a "Jennifer Aniston" account with the message: “You have my whole heart for my whole life. #WeddingDress”.
After getting engaged three years ago, Ms Aniston and her fiancé Justin Theroux, reportedly got married in a secret ceremony earlier this month. No details of the wedding have been released so far.
This didn’t stop news outlets and social media jumping on the picture and releasing it – sending it viral.
However earlier today Buzzfeed burst the bubble and revealed that the picture is in fact a fake.
Buzzfeed established this as a result of studying Ms Aniston’s "side profile" and comparing it to the woman in the picture (stay with us…) and by pointing out that the Facebook page is in fact a fan page, not a verified account.
But most interestingly (to the JC anyway) they tracked down the dress to the 2014 collection from Israeli designer, Dimitrius Dalia.
As Buzzfeed concluded: “It is a very nice dress. Maybe one day we’ll get to see the real deal”.
