Granada shabbat, 500 years on

The former medieval Jewish quarter of Realejo in Granada, Spain, hosted its first Shabbat service for 500 years last month.

It took place in the city’s Jewish Museum, opened last April by French citizen Beatrice Chevalier Sola in her grandmother’s former home.
