Families of dead Iranian scientists set to sue Israel

articlemain

BRITAIN, the USA and Israel may face legal action after family members of dead Iranian scientists accused them of being behind their assassinations.

Rahim Ahmadi Roshan, the father of a former Natanz uranium enrichment employee, has appealed to international bodies via Iran’s judiciary after his son Mostafa was killed in a January bomb attack.

“We’ve filed an indictment against the Zionist regime and the arrogant powers,” Mr Roshan told a press conference in Tehran.

An Iranian television broadcast showed pictures purportedly from a military training camp outside Tel Aviv.

The state-run channel claimed that the Iranian scientists died after Israeli suspects took courses on how to place a magnetic bomb on a car.

Iran claims that the West has conspired with Israel to sabotage the Islamic Republic’s growing nuclear programme, also alleging that M16, the CIA and Mossad worked together.

Britain and the USA have reportedly denied involvement in the killings and Israel has yet to comment.
