Concentration camp employee suspended for designing 'Jews go home' poster

A graphic designer has been suspended after allegedly producing antisemitic posters while working for a concentration camp museum in Poland.

Police were called after the Majdanek museum discovered an employee called "Krzysztof K" had been making posters that said: "Jews go home", along with other offensive material.

The museum has launched an internal investigation and said it was “shocked” by the discovery.

Museum spokeswoman Agnieszka Kowalczyk-Nowak said: “The management has decided to suspend him from duty while the case is being clarified.”

Mr K worked at the museum on the outskirts of Lublin where 80,000 people were murdered by Nazis during the Second World War.

Police believe four others were involved in distributing posters stating “Zionists Leave Lublin” at bus stops in the area.

It is thought the gang had been putting up the slogans for four years.
