articlemain

A car has been driven into pedestrians in Jerusalem in what is being described as a terror attack.

At least 14 people were injured and three people more seriously in the attack at Zaks Square in the capital on Wednesday.

The driver of the car was killed by security forces.

According to initial reports, one person is in a serious condition and two others sustained less serious wounds.

Two weeks ago, three-month-old Chaya Ziesl Baron and Ecuadorian Karen Mosquera, 22, were killed in a similar attack in Jerusalem.

A Palestinian man named as Abed a-Rahman a-Shaludi rammed his car into a crowd of people waiting at the Ammunition Hill light rail station.

The driver attempted to flee the scene on foot, but was shot by police.
