Woody Allen has revealed plans to write a new Broadway show.
He told the New York Times that he was working on a one-act play, to be staged on Broadway from September alongside another by filmmaker Ethan Coen.
The comedies will be shown with a third act written by Primary Colours screenwriter Elaine May.
The show will be directed by Hollywood actor John Turturro.
Mr Allen, whose latest film Midnight in Paris premiered in Cannes last week, said his act would be called Honeymoon Motel. He described it as "a broad comedy, for laughs, no redeeming social value".
It is the second time that Mr Allen has worked on a triple bill. He collaborated with Ms May and David Mamet on the off-Broadway comedies Death Defying Acts in 1995.
