Which schools are open today?

Thanks to the snow from Storm Emma you might be wondering about school opening hours on Thursday and Friday. We're here to help...

JFS - OPEN from 9.00 am - 12.00 pm on Thursday; buses are scheduled to depart half an hour later than normal and the Purim party is still scheduled to go ahead.

In a weather update on social media JFS said: "Please be aware that school is open today from 9.00 am - 12.00 pm and as previously informed, buses are scheduled to depart half an hour later than normal.

Please ask all children to take extra care when travelling and to dress appropriately for Purim and the cold weather.

Wishing you all a Purim Sameach"

CLOSED on Friday. A statement from the headmaster said:  "There are due to be heavy snow showers in Kingsbury tonight and again tomorrow mid-afternoon when students would be travelling home. School will therefore be closed tomorrow and will reopen for a normal schedule on Monday 5 March."

JCOSS - OPEN until 1.45pm on Thursday. CLOSED on Friday "due to freezing weather conditions on site"

YAVNEH - OPEN on Thursday. CLOSED on Friday "due to adverse weather conditions and some health and safety concerns on the site and in the building due to the freezing temperatures."

Headmaster Spencer Lewis said: "I am aware that this decision will inconvenience some parents, but I have no choice but to close with health and safety at the forefront of my mind."

SINAI - OPEN on Thursday

MORIAH - OPEN on Thursday

IMMANUEL COLLEGE - OPEN as usual on Thursday. CLOSED on Friday "due to adverse weather conditions school will be closed on Friday 2 March."

ROSH PINNER - OPEN on Thursday and operating normal hours until further notice. CLOSED on Friday "Due to the inclement weather conditions and in the interest of safety"

AKIVA - OPEN as normal on Thursday. OPEN UNTIL 1.30PM on Friday "due to weather forecast"

HASMONEAN - CLOSED on Thursday and Friday but for Purim rather than for snow.
