Want to be a spy on TV? Here's how...

Go behind 'enemy' lines

Bored of the day job? Fancy taking part in a reality show with a difference? Here is your chance to be a spy — at least for a few weeks.

A TV production team is making a BBC2 show recreating the heroic efforts of Second World War secret agents — and is searching for Jewish recruits.

The series will tell the story of the Special Operations Executive by resurrecting the gruelling training programme adopted by ordinary men and women who were plucked from ordinary lives in the 1940s.

Production company Wall To Wall said it wanted the show to “reflect the displacement of people and families during the war and the heroism of Jewish operatives who were determined to do all they could to fight the Nazis and reclaim Europe. “

Successful applicants, who must be over 18, will join a “finishing school” to learn code-breaking and sabotage skills for missions that will test both mental and physical strength.

Producers hope the show will give a unique and accurate insight into the lives led by the undercover agents. To apply email secretagent@walltowall.co.uk or call 020 7241 9348.
