Troll fined for Lord Sugar Twitter abuse

A teenager who trolled Lord Sugar has been ordered to pay £100 in compensation for sending the British Jewish billionaire antisemitic tweets.

The 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in court after he called Lord Sugar an: “old Jewish” followed by a swear word.

The teenager, from Preston, Lancashire, was also fined £85 in costs at Chelmsford Magistrates Court and ordered to complete and eight month referral to a youth offender panel.

Lord Sugar, who hosts BBC business show the Apprentice, tweeted:
