articlemain

Ellie Hyman, a second year student at Durham University, is the latest member of the JC’s growing blogging team.

Ellie was named the winner of our student blogger competition with her blog about the upsides - and downsides - of avoiding a 'Jewniversity', and will be contributing to our website fortnightly from September. You can read her winning blog here , along with the other shortlisted blogs. Mira Trenner, who is about to start her first year at Oxford, was named runner-up .

She joins Noa Gendler, who just graduated from Cambridge, on the Student Views blog, as well as sports enthusiast Joshua Korber Hoffman, who writes The Football Blog, the JC reporters who contribute to the JC Blog and Le Blog Francais, which documents the views of a group of French Jews.
