A campaign which calls the JNF "racist" and "colonialist" has been revived this week.
Stop The JNF was relaunched on "Palestinian Land Day" as part of a day of action organised by the BDS movement to commemorate the deaths of six Palestinian activists during marches in 1976. The group hopes to get the charitable status of JNF revoked, a tactic already rejected by the Charity Commission.
JNF UK chairman Samuel Hayek said: "JNF is proud to be a Zionist charity, but we are equally proud of the diversity of our work and of the difference we are making to all the people of Israel."
