Muslim twins who accused a brokerage firm of religious discrimination have agreed a multi-million pound settlement.

Samira and Hanan Fariad, 31, claimed they were banned from working with Jewish clients at City of London firm Tradition Securities and Futures.

They said a bank client was allocated to a Jewish co-worker because they "had in common both language and race".

The company had rejected more than 200 allegations in the case at London Central Employment Tribunal, but agreed an out-of-court deal on Tuesday.
