articlemain

A teacher at a private school in Scotland who allegedly made antisemitic comments during one of his classes will have a disciplinary hearing next week, according to the Herald Scotland.

Religious education teacher David McNally reportedly told students at Kilwinning Academy in Ayrshire: "Hitler was not all bad - he killed the Jews.”

Mr McNally is said to have made the comments on November 1, 2012. He also allegedly made sexually inappropriate comments to his pupils, and joked about Jimmy Savile.

He will appear in front of a disciplinary hearing of the General Teaching Council for Scotland next week.

If found guilty, Mr McNally will face a lifetime ban from teaching and working with children and young adults.
