Penn and Teller fooled with a dinner trick

articlemain

A Borehamwood magician is to perform in Las Vegas after fooling renowned illusionists Penn and Teller with a food-related trick.

Nicholas Einhorn, a gold star member of the Inner Magic Circle and the resident magician at Tottenham Hotspur football club, was one of two acts to win on the ITV1 show on Saturday.

Mr Einhorn, who has been tricking audiences since he was a toddler, will now perform alongside Penn Jillette and Raymond Teller in their sell-out Vegas show.

The father-of-two arranged three dinners on a table and used his magical skills to predict which audience member would choose which meal.

Mr Einhorn, who was a runner-up in the 1996 Young Jewish Performer of the Year competition, has twice won the Magic Circle Close-up Magician of the Year award.

He said he had enjoyed the experience of performing for two such experienced judges, although he said he felt the pressure. "I looked cool and calm but it was really nervewracking," he said.
