A 10-year row between the UK branch of the Jewish National Fund and Keren Kayemet Leyisrael has come to an end, with the signing of an agreement between the two organisations.

The agreement resolved the two main areas of dispute: ownership of land in Israel, bought by the JNF, and the use of the KKL-JNF logo in the UK. At the height of the dispute, three years ago, the then KKL chairman, Yehiel Leket, announced an official breaking-off of relations and that KKL would set up its own fundraising operation in the UK. KKL will now assume ownership of the lands, in return for £5 million to be paid to the JNF over ten years. The money will be invested back into KKL ecological projects in the Negev and Galilee. The JNF will receive a licence to use the KKL-JNF logo in the UK for a token £10,000.
