Police are appealing for witnesses after making further arrests in connection with a mass brawl involving a group of strictly Orthodox Jews and a traffic warden.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of affray, actual bodily harm and false imprisonment following the incident last month in Hackney, north-east London.

Video footage of the incident shows a number of Charedim wrestling the traffic warden to the ground.

The two men aged 31, and 29, were arrested on February 1, and bailed pending further enquiries to a date in early March.

A 30-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm at the scene.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Detectives continue to investigate the incident and are appealing for witnesses to the altercation or anyone who can to help identify a group of males involved to come forward.

“They are also asking anyone who has footage captured on CCTV or mobile phones to contact them with this important evidence.”
