Art by Anish Kapoor and Lucian Freud will be seen by millions of people in a nationwide exhibition.

Freud’s paintings, Man’s Head (Self Portrait I) and Girl with a Kitten, as well as Kapoor’s sculpture As if to Celebrate, I Discovered a Mountain Blooming with Red Flowers will be among 57 artworks displayed on 22,000 billboards across the UK as part of the Art Everywhere project.

The works were chosen by the public from a longlist of the works held in national collections.

Described as “the world’s largest art show", Art Everywhere has been funded by more than £30,000 in donations. It runs from August 12-24.
