No charges are to be made against a 22-year-old man who was arrested protesting outside the Globe Theatre last month.

He was understood to be part of the anti-Israel demonstration calling for the Globe to prevent Israel’s Habima National Theatre from performing The Merchant of Venice.

The man was bailed pending further inquiries until June 7, but was not recalled or charged.
