French-born fashion designer Nicole Farhi was recovering this week after being robbed at knifepoint outside her Hampstead, North-West London, home last Thursday. Ms Farhi, 61, who lives with her theatre-director husband David Hare, had her £8,000 ring, watch and cash stolen by two men. It is thought they had been waiting for her to return home, before making their escape in a car.
