Katie Price's Israeli designer shopping spree

Katie Price caused a stir at Mayfair fashion boutique Doly, with a £42,000 shopping spree on two Israeli-designed dresses.

She choose two handmade dresses by Israeli designer Pnina Tornai costing £42,000 to wear to an event next week.

One of the dresses, a dove-grey ballgown with a diamante corset, fuelled speculation in the tabloids that she was shopping for a wedding dress with new beau, cagefighter Alex Reid.

Ms Price arrived at the store accompanied by her mum, her 2-year-old daughter Princess Tiaamii, her stylist Garry Cockerll, and hundreds of paparazzi and fans trying to catch a glimpse of the star.

The spree was documented by an ITV crew who are filming a reality show based around the now divorced former glamour model.

Shop owner Vered Aaron said: “Hundreds of paparazzi and admirers from the street gathered around the shop trying to get a glimpse of her .They also try to enter the shop we had to put the shutters down and put bodyguards in front of the door to stop people.”

But the designer whose dresses were chosen by the reality TV star is no stranger to that scene herself.

Pnina Tornei also has her own TV show in Israel and has appeared on Israeli Big Brother.
