Finally! A gourmet guide

articlemain

It is one of the favourite talking points for British Jews - where are the best places to buy and eat kosher food in this country?

A musician believes he can provide the answer. Daniel Biro has launched a website which promises to review gourmet kosher products and restaurants across Britain and Europe.

Mr Biro came up with the idea for KosherGourmetGuide.com after he and his wife struggled to find any other site with advice on new delicacies.

"We wanted something like The Good Food Guide, but for kosher products," he explained. "There is more choice with kosher food and people want to know what is good, what is not, and what people recommend."

Articles on the site include reviews of kosher caviar, Spanish cheese, Italian salami and French wines.

Mr Biro, 52, will be promoting the site at the Gefiltefest festival next month.

"We are trying to bring the kosher world in line with other food websites," he said. "People who eat kosher are interested in the same things."
